Today’s Special Prayers:

Prayer for Preacher Daizhichao, Elder Li Yingqiang, Preacher An Yankui, and 12 other brothers and sisters taken away in Dazhou

Today, Preacher Daizhichao and Elder Li Yingqiang were serving in baptism and communion at the Dazhou Haotudi Preaching House in a hotel meeting room. Around 11:30 AM, during the Amen Song of the meeting, they encountered a sudden intrusion by the police, political security, religious affairs bureau, civil affairs bureau, and several others. Around 12:30 PM, a total of twelve brothers and sisters were taken by police cars to the Chaoyang Police Station in Dazhou, and are currently waiting at the case handling center.

Lord, please watch over your servants, watch over your faithful children who love you. Grant them a steady heart when they are repeatedly brought before kings and rulers, before the authorities of the sword. Grant them the words to speak. In the presence of police, political security, religious affairs, and civil affairs personnel, Lord, grant them strength and courage, wisdom and gentleness, to bear witness to the Gospel before foreigners. This prayer is offered in the holy name of Jesus Christ, who was crucified for us in Egypt, Amen!

Today’s Sermon Excerpt:

“The Gospel challenges you, in your world, in your life, in your soul, which king kills which king? Which king do you worship, the one with power who can kill people, or the one who was ultimately killed on the cross?”
