This morning (May 28) at around 9 AM, shortly after the Sunday worship service began, Dazhou City’s Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Civil Affairs, Public Security, and other departments conducted a “joint enforcement” operation. They raided the Dazhou Haotudi Preaching House of Autumn Rain Covenant Church and took 11 brothers and sisters, including Brother Hou Duoshu and Brother Yang Tao, to the police station for questioning. The reason given was suspicion of “activities in the name of a banned social organization.”
By two o’clock in the afternoon, the brothers and sisters who were taken away were gradually released and returned home. They were all joyful and gave glory to the Lord.
