On November 2, 2023, approximately 346 devices of brothers and sisters were online participating in the “China’s Five O’clock in the Afternoon” Kingdom Prayer Meeting.
Today’s Prayer:
Pray for brothers and sisters who have been sentenced and are serving time in prison or are detained in detention centers without a sentence.
We pray for God Emmanuel to continue to be with them, to look after their bodies, to strengthen their faith, and to teach them the lesson of waiting. May He protect and comfort their hearts and strengthen their churches. We also pray for the precious pastor’s wives and their children, asking for the Lord’s presence and for the peace of Emmanuel to be especially gracious to them. May the churches in China not be ashamed of these imprisoned members but instead take pride in them, for their imprisonment is the imprisonment of the Chinese Church. May they experience the peace and joy of Emmanuel, and the power of God within. Amen!
Special Prayer for Today:
Pray for Chinese Society and the Chinese Church
Especially pray for the family of Premier Li Keqiang, that they may hear the gracious gospel, see the eternal hope, and repent and turn to the living and almighty Lord. For only the Lord can wipe away their tears.
Lord, awaken the sense of justice in the Chinese people and call those in power to repentance. Look after the churches in China, Lord, we are doomed if we do not preach the gospel. Pray for the church to repent and reform, for us to repent in teaching, to be light and salt in this evil land, to proclaim and live out the reason for our hope, leading others to the Lord! May the righteousness of the Lord flow like a river across China.
Lord, we cannot only want the dowry and not the bride, may your bride manifest your power when she is mistreated on this land. Have mercy on your imprisoned servants, so that the gospel they preach may be heard by more in China today. May we emulate them as examples, willing to suffer for the gospel, to tell the good news story, to preach in suffering, to preach with joy. Amen!
We hope more brothers and sisters will join in prayer, see you every day at five o’clock! Time: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM Meeting ID: 886 3917 1573 Password: 20181209 [The room number remains the same every day, please save it] Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. (Hebrews 13:3)
