Lord, we thank and praise You, You are the Lord who became flesh, the only Lord. We pray that You continue to look after and protect those who are imprisoned for witnessing, following, and martyring for the Way. Lord, provide for their daily needs and be with them. May You lead them as You have led them in, serve inside, and when they come out, continue to lead them to be Your servants, sacrificing themselves for the Way, because only the Way can exalt a person, Amen!

Pray for Linfen Covenant Home Church
Lawyer’s news update: “The preachers of Covenant Home Church, Li Jie, Han Xiaodong, Wang Qiang, and others were accused of fraud. Today, my partner, lawyer Yuan Mao, and I went to the Yaodu District Court in Linfen City to review the files. Judge Jia Jing, being in a meeting, arranged a clerk to receive us. We stated our intention that some electronic data had not yet been copied. The clerk brought out a bag of CDs, and we saw the interrogation recordings of the three defendants. The clerk legally ensured our right to review the files, arranging for technical staff to copy the recordings. During the copying process, Judge Jia Jing called the technical staff, demanding to stop the copying and delete the already copied interrogation recordings from the USB drive. The interrogation recordings of the three defendants consist of a total of 17 CDs, some of the video materials are noted with “case officer’s tone is bad,” “case officer’s words are intimidating,” “XXX speaks in a loud tone,” etc. We met with the defendants and learned that they were taken to a dim interrogation room in a detention center, where police officers threatened to imprison their wife, father, sister, and even break their legs upon release, using filthy language to insult their faith. The investigators’ use of illegal methods, such as threatening the defendants and their families and insulting their faith, is confirmed in the video materials. The defense lawyers’ right to review the case files is legally established: Article 40 of the Criminal Procedure Law, Article 53 of the Explanation of the Criminal Procedure Law, and Article 14 of the regulations by the two high authorities and three departments on ensuring lawyers’ practice rights, all specify that defense attorneys can review, excerpt, and copy case file materials from the date of case review and prosecution. We returned to Judge Jia Jing’s office, where she, looking displeased, warned us not to copy the recordings. We argued our case based on reason, and the presiding judge, hearing the argument, called us to his office. After Judge Jia Jing and we were in the presiding judge’s office, we stated our legal basis and reasons for requesting copies of the recordings. Judge Jia Jing remained stern, unwilling to listen to the lawyers and intimidating them by slamming the desk. The law allows defense attorneys to request access to interrogation audio and video recordings and does not prohibit copying them. Especially for those recordings already marked with clues of illegal evidence collection, it is reasonable for defense lawyers to request copies. Judge Jia Jing’s act of slamming the desk, intimidating the lawyers, and abruptly stopping the copying process, possibly conceals evidence, and an investigation into this behavior by the Yaodu District Court in Linfen City is requested.“
We pray that the righteous Lord will vindicate them, although we know there is no absolute justice on this earth, we also believe that the Lord will reveal the evil of this world through the case of the three brothers and the work of the lawyers. Lord, let people know their own evil, illuminate the filth of these 9.6 million square kilometers, so that those You have called may repent, believe in the gospel, be spared from future wrath, and obtain true peace! Even if not, Lord, please continue to look after the waiting of the three brothers, the insults, persecution, and pressure they experience, bear it for them. You love them to the end. The insults and beatings they suffer have fallen on You! You have borne it for them, the Way they believe in, please keep it for them, Amen!
Pray for the persecuted brothers and sisters of Early Rain Covenant Church
Pray for Vice Deacon Xiao Rongbiao and Sister Shu Qiong, who have once again encountered forced relocation. Pray for Vice Deacon Jia Xuewei, who had a rib broken on October 28.
Lord, we have lost count of how many times they have been forcibly relocated and beaten. But Lord, You remember, and the angels’ ledger also remembers. Lord, the Way they have witnessed, from national treasures to neighborhood committees, has it not been seen? Their homelessness testifies to the truth of this Way, testifies to Your gospel of grace, testifies that what they preach is how they live. May You continue to add grace upon them, upon this tangible church on earth, upon every tangible church in China that is willing to take up its cross and follow You, so that we may only boast of our poverty, helplessness, weakness, and the shame despised by the world, for where there is shame, we acknowledge our humility, we pray, repent, and praise, and there is the glory of Your gospel’s robe of righteousness. Amen!
Pray for Bengbu Living Stone Reformed Church
Lord, we ask You to continue to look after the difficulties of this church, look after Pastor Wan Changchun’s family, Sister Wan Chunqin’s family, Elder Xue Shaoqiang and his wife’s family, and the family of Cao Binting and Ma Peipei. We are thankful for those brothers and sisters willing to use the money You have given them to care for the members of the kingdom. Please continue to provide for the legal fees of this church!
