Today is Sunday, and Chengdu Early Rain Covenant Church convened as usual for Sunday worship. A group of brothers and sisters gathered together. Around 10:20 AM, two police officers arrived at the door, followed by about a dozen more police and staff members. They requested each brother and sister to register their ID cards and addresses.
Around 11:40 AM, the police left the scene without taking any of the brothers and sisters away. We pray that the Lord will watch over the Early Rain Covenant Church and enable us to focus on worshiping the Lord, as this is what pleases Him. Thank you to all the churches for their prayers!
