Peace to my beloved family!
I am Sister Quan Wanjuan from Linwu County, Hunan. My husband, Pastor Zeng, was administratively detained for 15 days by the Lanshan County Public Security Bureau on May 14th due to a Sunday service. After his detention ended on May 30th, he was again detained by the Public Security of Linwu County, Chenzhou City, on June 1st, on the charge of “illegal business operations.”
Our family is a typical Christian household. Both our parents are farmers. We have three daughters, all minors. I am an ordinary factory worker, and my husband is a regular Christian and pastor. Sunday services are a normal part of our faith life.
Currently, we have engaged a lawyer to intervene as soon as possible.
We pray that God will look after our family and protect Pastor Zeng as he witnesses for the Lord, resisting coercion from any force. We also pray for the relevant authorities to handle the case fairly and justly, to vindicate my husband soon, and to release him without charge so he can return home.
