Pastors and preachers of the Xi’an Fensheng Church, a Chinese house church, namely Lian Changnian, Lian Xuliang, and Fu Juan, have been subjected to compulsory measures since August 17, 2022. These measures include designated residential surveillance for six months, criminal detention for 37 days, and formal arrest continuing to this day.
On March 8-9, 2023, lawyers met with the concerned parties and, on their behalf, filed complaints against Officer Zhang * Bo of the Baili Shop Police Station in Baqiao District, Xi’an, for violent law enforcement, torture for confessions, and abuse, constituting illegal and criminal acts!
